Our Story
Our earliest memory is going out in March 2003, & thinking about rewriting the African football narrative…
A few months later we were born in Port Harcourt Nigeria, and named after the greenery and serenity that the city of Port Harcourt boasts of – Garden City Panthers Football Club. We are a multidimensional development center for football players to receive the necessary and quality focus in terms of training, coaching and support needed to promote footballers through the player pathway to a potential professional career.
Garden City has a long history of training young players and instilling the right spirit of sportsmanship that is needed to position them for global opportunities. We are a body of professional football experts with keen industry experience who have struck a balance between football training and education to help each and every player become a star. We help ensure constant development of ambitions to help optimize career options.

THE CLUB
Garden City Panthers FC was established in 2013 in the city of Port Harcourt. Nicked named “Panthers” and the club is currently located in the beautiful city of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory and the players train in M.K.O. Abiola National Stadium Abuja and it is close to the city centre. An elite training methodology. Football in the 21st century is more competitive than ever. Individuals are stronger and better trained than they were in the past. The club works with the players on every aspect of their learning and training to ensure they develop the physical, technical, tactical and mental foundations required for better performance. Garden City Panthers FC have the exclusive strategic partnership with AS Roma, Italy and FC Zenith, Russia to establish their official football academies in Nigeria, respectively.
THE STAFF
Garden City Panthers FC and the Academy has a competent and qualified staff who have a significant experience in transmitting their knowledge and skills, allowing players to understand the world they are living in. Although high performance football is the main thing in both the Club and Academy, nothing has been neglected to give a balanced training including sport and studies.

We have a rich history of grooming professional players with potential into the next generation of soccer talents by giving them the best education of the game that will last them for the rest of their lives. We do not limit our champions to a clime, but through international tournaments and matches, we test their abilities with their international counterparts to forge the best skills into them.
In partnership with AS Roma, FC Zenith, and other selected football clubs, our Football Academy is the gateway to high-level football. We have consistently maintained an ambition to have every passionate player realize his dream: to become a professional football player.
Since 2013 our Football Club nicknamed the “Panthers” has been functional in putting the academic skills of players to practical test.The Club is located in the beautiful city of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory and the players train in M.K.O.
